Key Activities of the Board of Directors of the International Cooperative of Original Saffron Of Ancient Land  (Public Joint Stock)

1. Establishing and equipping the company’s main office in Tehran, Sheikh Bahai Street.
2. Establishing and equipping the branch office in Torbat Heydarieh.
3. Preparing and establishing a 6-ton saffron warehouse to obtain stock exchange symbols.
4. Inviting the caretaker of the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Agha Mir, to inaugurate the Torbat Heydarieh branch office.
5. Signing a memorandum of understanding with the National Saffron Research Institute for collaboration in laboratory services.
6. Holding two meetings with the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, Mr. Soulat Mortazavi, to secure funding for saffron purchase support.
7. Conducting multiple meetings with the Employment Deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Dr. Kermani Biranvand, and Engineer Maskani, Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, regarding securing funding for saffron purchase support.
8. Holding two meetings in the Production Leap Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly with the presence of some parliament representatives, Deputy Ministers of Cooperatives, representatives from the Planning and Budget Organization, the head of the Cooperative Chamber, managers from agricultural banks, and members of the board of directors regarding saffron purchase support.
9. Preparing a feasibility study and holding a meeting at the Stock Exchange Organization to follow up on permission to issue 100 billion Tomans in participation bonds.
10. Conducting multiple meetings with the manager of the Investment Guarantee Fund for Cooperatives to issue a guarantee for the public joint stock cooperative worth 500 billion Tomans, acquiring a trade card, and forming a commercial team to assess target markets, marketing, and exporting saffron.
11. Taking steps to obtain a saffron packaging operation license from the Ministry of Agriculture, which is currently being finalized.
12. Holding meetings with managers of the Agricultural Development Fund to discuss share purchases and collaboration for securing funding from this fund.
13. Following up on insurance for the agricultural lands of shareholders and cooperative members of the company from the Ministry of Agriculture, Horticultural Deputy.
14. Signing a memorandum of understanding and taking steps to obtain small loans for individual shareholders with the Cooperative Development Bank of Khorasan Razavi Province.
15. Communicating with the project manager for medicinal plants at the Ministry of Agriculture regarding various topics, including attracting various supports from the Ministry of Agriculture through this channel.
16. Establishing an Agriculture Commission in the Tehran Cooperative Chamber and obtaining a membership seat from the Iranian Cooperative Chamber, securing the vice-presidency of the Agriculture Commission of the Iranian Cooperative Chamber.
17. Meeting with the Planning and Economic Deputy of the Ministry of Agriculture (Mr. Alaei Moghaddam) regarding securing funding for saffron purchase support and pursuing low-cost loans from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Goals and Vision of the Company:

1. Establishing the first specialized saffron monthly magazine.
2. Registering a national saffron brand.
3. Processing, packaging, and branding saffron.
4. Conducting training courses to enhance saffron productivity through specialized training sessions in collaboration with the National Saffron Research Institute and the Ministry of Agriculture.
5. Supporting the establishment of local brands by producers and farmers and facilitating the packaging, branding, and marketing process.
6. Establishing a saffron bank.
7. Creating a documentation system for saffron to ensure all produced saffron has a documentation that includes: farmer’s name, planting year, fertilizers used, organic and non-organic status, crocin levels, and other physical and chemical specifications as well as the regional characteristics of the cultivated land.
8. Establishing a saffron processing association to support this group and address their challenges.

The financial statement for the first operational period of the company was read and approved by the board of directors.
