A meeting was held regarding the mechanism for the supportive purchase of saffron from farmers this year, attended by some members of the board of directors and representatives from rural cooperative unions and shareholder production cooperatives.

A meeting was held with some members of the board of directors and rural cooperative unions from the towns of Torbat Heydarieh, Torbat Jam, Zaveh, Rashtkhvar, and the production cooperatives of Mehvalat and Zaveh. In this meeting, the general discussion regarding the supportive purchase of saffron this year by these unions was examined. Following the efforts of the International Cooperative of Original Ancient Land Saffron and with the cooperation of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, a credit line has been allocated for the supportive purchase of saffron, which must be utilized with the cooperation of other rural cooperatives and production cooperatives. The cooperatives reached a consensus to make every effort to prepare the necessary guarantees and collateral.
