Shareholders’ and Farmers’ Meeting with the Board Members of the International Cooperative Company of Original Saffron from the Ancient Land.

In this meeting, held with the presence of both legal and natural shareholders of the cooperative, the company’s upcoming plans for supportive saffron purchases in 2023 were outlined, and shareholders shared their opinions and suggestions regarding this matter. In previous years, saffron support purchases were carried out by the Rural Cooperative Organization, which always led to dissatisfaction among saffron farmers due to the lack of a suitable mechanism. The general cooperative, formed by consolidating the legal and natural shareholders active in the saffron sector, including 45 rural cooperatives, aims to empower farmers and saffron industry stakeholders to make decisions regarding saffron themselves.
