A discussion and specialized meeting was held with the presence of CEO Mr. Iman Asgharzadeh and board members of the International Original Saffron Cooperative, along with the esteemed president of Torbat Heydarieh University (Dr. Khashaei) and the esteemed head of the National Saffron Research Institute (Dr. Faizi). At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding for joint scientific, research, and promotional collaborations in the field of saffron was signed between them.
– Utilizing the facilities of the National Saffron Research Institute as a collaborative laboratory.
– Assisting in organizing training courses for saffron farmers.
– Joint research, educational, technological, and knowledge-based collaborations regarding agricultural products.
– Providing healthy and standardized saffron bulbs for cultivation.
– Consulting and collaborating on planting, cultivation, harvesting, packaging, marketing, and branding of saffron.
– Scholarship opportunities for outstanding students in various fields such as pharmaceuticals, agricultural economics, etc., offered by the Original Saffron Company based on identified needs.
These were some of the items that the parties agreed upon in the joint memorandum.
